Dissolved Into Clones. Taught everyone to smell of coffee. Now smells of everyone. The trick isn't the coffee — it's the almond and licorice under it: they turn espresso creamy, not burnt. In 2014 four Firmenich perfumers put that over white flowers: women's gourmands rebooted from this bottle. Clones stripped it; YSL gave the window to Libre. Now it smells like everyone — because everyone smells like it. Dead as an event, alive as a standard — worse for the cult than for the cash.
