Overplayed Summer. Wrote summer’s recipe so well that everyone stole it. Cresp put Sicilian lemon and green apple on cedar and musk — twenty years of the default beach smell, under museum glass. Success broke it: when every mass-market brews that citrus-cedar, the original becomes everyone’s scent. In 2025 it was reformulated “for longevity” — the formula gave up. Fair: the beach is his, and nobody’s. Yes, twice: first the copies diluted him, then the bottle itself folded — 2025 signed it off.
